Staying in Compliance

Families should ensure their student meets the immunization requirements for their grade level. MSAD 15 is required by law to exclude students who are not in compliance.

School nurses, administrators, and district staff will contact families whose students appear out of compliance to provide guidance and resources. Our goal is to keep students healthy and in school.

Finding Vaccinations

Families can access required vaccines through:

  • School Clinics: Information will be sent home via ReachMyTeach each year.
  • Primary Care Providers:  Well-child visits or “vaccine-only” appointments.
  • Local Pharmacies: CVS and Walgreens in Windham, Auburn, and Lewiston.
  • For Students Without Health Insurance:  City of Portland Public Health Department offers immunizations via appointment or walk-in clinics.  Visit their website for more information.

If these options are unavailable, contact your school’s health office for additional support.

Flu Clinics

MSAD 15 partners with a variety of organizations to provide annual flu shot clinics in all schools. Contact your school’s health office for dates and forms.
