2019 District-Wide Science Fair
On the evening of Thursday, March 7th, the GNGHS gym was home to our third annual District-Wide Science Fair. Students from all five schools were invited to complete science-themed research projects and experiments. Over forty students registered for the Science Fair, and their interesting projects were put on display.
The entire GNG community was invited to view the projects, view demonstrations from high school science students, and mingle with students, families, and staff from all five schools. All participants were awarded certificates and medals. Thanks to a generous donation from the Patriot Parents, we were able to raffle off science-themed prizes to participants in each of the age groups.
We would like to thank Dr. Andrea Harvey, the Patriot Parent representatives, and our volunteer judges (including students from the GNGHS’s International Baccalaureate Program) for their generous donations of time and energy for this event. We would also thank our student participants for taking the initiative to complete and display their impressive projects.
