Our Belief

We believe that healthy students and staff learn and work better. Supporting physical, social, and emotional wellness is essential to a thriving school community.

💡 Purpose of the Wellness Committee

The Wellness Committee works to:

  • Support student and staff well-being
  • Promote healthy habits and lifestyles
  • Ensure compliance with district wellness policies (JL policy)
  • Review and guide nutrition, physical activity, and wellness initiatives
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement

🧭 What We Do

  • Review and update the district Wellness Policy
  • Monitor implementation across schools
  • Promote wellness initiatives (nutrition, physical activity, mental health)
  • Gather feedback from students, staff, and families
  • Support school-based wellness activities and events
