Karen Licht won the Maine Golden Apple Excellence in Teaching Award and was treated to a limo ride to and from school along with a couple other nice prizes.The Golden Apple Awards were created to recognize individuals dedicated to the intellectual and emotional growth of Maine’s children and young adults.
One Golden Apple teacher/educator will be selected each month and will receive a floral arrangement from Ann’s Flower Shop, gift certificate to Muddy Rudder Restaurant, and a limo ride to and from school courtesy of Atlantic Limousine. They will also be recognized at a special Golden Apple Awards banquet in August.
