The High School was not able to hold their usual Home Coming Events, so the Student Council took matters into their own hands and created a Virtual Fall Festival.  Led by President: Will Fournier, Vice President: Sophie Robinson, Secretary: Maggie Austin, Treasurer: Emma Griffin or Public Relations Officer: Riley Webster, the Student Council held Spirit week for students to dress up, created an online visual and performing arts showcase (http://bit.ly/GNGHSFallFestivalVPA), moderated a school wide online gaming competition and held a ‘reverse wagon parade’.  Students couldn’t gather as a class to build floats, so they decorated wagons as family units and had them on display at the high school. Advisories competed against each other playing the game ‘Among Us’. Mr Cutter’s Advisory won the tournament while Mr Walker and Ms Austin’s Advisories tied for 2nd place.
Points will be awarded to classes for participation and winning events.  It wasn’t our ‘typical’ homecoming event, but those that participated had fun.  Stay tuned for more activities brought to you by the High school Student Council!!!
We will share the winners of the wagon parade Monday!!!!
