Camp Sunshine, a family retreat in Casco, Maine, has provided support for families impacted by a child’s illness for over thirty-five years. Camp Sunshine’s participation in the LL Bean Pumpkin Festival is aimed toward gaining both exposure of their program and revenue used to allow families to stay at Camp Sunshine at no charge. In the fall of 2018, the proceeds from the Pumpkin Festival allowed thirty-four families the opportunity to visit the Camp Sunshine retreat. The Community Service Club was pleased to carve pumpkins again this year (our eighth year) and carved 900 pumpkins thanks to the help of the GNG High School student body!
