Fairy Tale Ball
Once upon a time, in the enchanted classrooms of Russell School, there was a second grade team who put on a Fairy Tale Ball. After much work in the classrooms learning about story elements, understanding the moral of a story, and writing their own fairy tales, the students celebrated by bringing the characters to life in the gym.
Students thoroughly enjoyed doing a number of group dances they had been learning in PE at the Fairy Tale Ball. Ms. Croteau served as caller as the children showed off their do-si-dos and promenades.
