A Message from our Principal

Dear Russell School Families & Visitors,

Welcome to the Russell School website! We are proud to serve the Gray community by working closely with our students and their families in many meaningful ways. Our dedicated faculty and staff bring a wealth of experience and expertise in meeting the unique needs of children in kindergarten through second grade.

As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, our focus remains on building upon Russell School’s strong tradition of success. Most importantly, we will continue fostering meaningful partnerships with parents, students, staff, and community members. In our safe and supportive learning environment, our team will provide developmentally appropriate instruction grounded in evidence-based practices to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student.

At Russell School, we believe that strong communication between home and school is key to student success. We will use a variety of strategies to stay connected, and we encourage parents, students, and staff to reach out. Whether in person, by phone, or through email—whenever questions, concerns, or important information need to be shared, please do not hesitate to reach out.

We invite you to visit our website often for updates on school events, special projects, and monthly newsletters. These resources will keep you informed about the exciting things happening at Russell School throughout the year.

Finally, I want to personally encourage families and community members to contact me directly with any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share. I can be reached at dblake@sad15.org or by phone at (207) 657–4929. I value the opportunity to connect with you.

Sincerely,
Danny J. Blake
Principal
