Re: School Budget Update – Referendum 8/26/25

Last night, voters from Gray and New Gloucester came together to overwhelmingly approve a revised budget at the District Budget Meeting. The revised approved budget is $34,900,655, a 4.79% increase from last year. Thank you to everyone who came out to participate in this process. Your time and energy is so appreciated.

What happens next?

Now the budget goes to public referendum vote on Tuesday, August 26, 2025:

  • New Gloucester – Fire Station, 6am-8pm
  • Gray – Newbegin Gym, 7am-8pm

Absentee and early voting is available starting Monday, July 28, 2025. Contact town offices for more information. 

Every vote counts and is important. Please find the time to vote absentee, early, or at the polls on 8/26.
